TIME TO ORDER
TREES/SHRUBS

FROM COUNTY
SOIL AND WATER
CONSERVATION
DISTRICTS.

Young stock, mostly small
bareroot. Inexpensive plants
to beautify neighborhood
green spaces, yards and streets.

Neighbors can share plants.

Churches/synagogues, senior
housing, schools can order
plants to beautify their grounds.

Buckingham Pond Park
Greenway and neighborhood
green spaces along New
Scotland Avenue at Whitehall
Krum Kill and South Manning
are suitable sites for plantings.

Plant young stock as street
or front lawn trees now, so
they get established before
existing street trees die and
are removed.

Select plants suitable for
site conditions. Take into
consideration the heights
and widths of plants when
they mature.

Avoid underground and
overhead utility lines.

To see what trees and shrubs
are available, when, where
at what costs and to order

PREVENTING HOUSE FIRES

Neighbors Nicole, John and their
family survived a house fire that
resulted in the total loss of their
home and contents.

Fortunately, all survived.

The city firefighters and police
deserve our thanks for their
prompt responses and actions.

The American Red Cross assisted
the family, but will not divulge
further information.

Are any neighbors collecting
clothing and household goods for
the family? Any of the local
churches?

Does the family need/want this?

Please let me know what action
if any is wanted/needed, so we
can pass the word via this website.

Meanwhile, homeowners should
review what they can do to prevent
house fires and resultant losses:

Imagine what would happen if
a terror attack cut off our water
supply and numerous fires were
set throughout the city.

Neighbors must realize that we
are a war with a shadowy enemy
that has invaded our land and they
are sworn to destroy us.

Anticipate and prepare for the
worst.

Government can't save us. We
must save ourselves and our
government.
