Hi Folks:
I was a former member of the Curves gym at Crestwood Plaza, and was part of a community of ladies of all ages that met, worked out, talked, socialized and enjoyed our conversations together. Sarah and Tanya who co-owned that Curves were marvelous! They really made it a special time and place, and made us into friends instead of "customers."

Crestwood is the oldest strip mall in the city and one of the worst in terms of maintenance and structural stability. No insulation in the walls so the heating bills are horrendous during the winter and plumbing problems that the landlord fails to address. The landlord is a Russian immigrant who lives in NYC with his trophy wife and has ventured to Albany only once in the past 2 yrs to check on his investments.

Crestwood Plaza will not pick up until absentee landlords are required to keep up their properties or encouraged to sell them to local people who are willing to invest time and effort to make them vibrant places in our community.
