Homeowners, and Stonehenge Apartments
have to break their lawn chemical
dependency, and the City, reduce, or
eliminate road salt use in the pond watershed.
The pond algae problem was not as great
this season because plentiful rainfall and
the City adding water to the pond, resulted
in deeper pond water levels which diluted
lawn chemical and road salt run off.
Cooler temperatures also reduce algae
blooms.
