NEIGHBORHOOD
MINISTRY
Neighborhood churches and
synagogues have a vital role
to play in emergency/disaster
preparedness providing food
water, heat and shelter to
neighborhood residents in
the event of prolonged natural
and/or man made disasters.
Neighborhood churches and
synagogues are not prepared
to perform this neighborhood
ministry.
It has been said "charity begins
at home" - the same can be
said for emergency/disaster
preparedness.
We live in a dangerous world.
Because of our governments
failure to secure our borders
and enforce our existing laws
regarding immigration, our
sworn enemies dwell amongst
us, preparing to deal us mortal
blows.
What would happen ,if during
the current frigid winter weather
terrorists took out the regional
power grid , cut vital natural
gas and water lines and set
the aging, wooden Albany housing
stock ablaze in raging winter winds?
Failure of homeowners and
neighborhood churches/synagogues
to anticipate and prepare for
these types of natural and man
made disasters, is to invite pain
suffering and hardships heretofore
unknown in America.
Government can't save us. We have
to prepare to save ourselves and
our neighborhoods.
Do not delay in responding to
the need to organize this vital
neighborhood ministry.
