AND ADVERSELY IMPACT CITY
SCHOOLS/ CITY SERVICES

As Mayor I will issue an Executive Order
setting the speed limit on these and all City
residential streets at 25 mph and direct the
APD to strictly enforce this limit as well as
all V&T Laws, including running stop signs
traffic lights and passing on the right,

And direct the City Planning Director
to explore a park and ride alternative, to
reduce traffic volumes on New Scotland
Ave, Krum Kill Rd, Buckingham Drive
Whitehall Rd, South Manning and Hackett.

I will issue a related  Executive Order
placing a six month moratorium on Rezone
Albany mixed use proposals and projects in
the prime single family residential
neighborhoods traversed by the above named
residential streets, in contemplation of a full
repeal of Rezone Albany or repealing mixed
use provisions of Rezone Albany in prime
single family residential neighborhoods.

Allowing mixed use developments in these
prime single family residential neighborhoods
will add more unwanted traffic, negatively
impacting the neighborhood residential
integrity, quality of life, home values and
property taxes, in these neighborhoods, which
pay the lion's share of property taxes that
support City schools and City government
services.
